No, this isn’t an article about morning wood, get your mind out of the gutter. If you’re like me and have a fight with the snooze button every morning, the Rocket Launcher Alarm Clock may be for you.

Here’s how the Rocket Launcher Alarm Clock works. Five seconds before the alarm goes off, a vocal countdown starts. When the countdown hits zero, the alarm fires off the rocket. In order to shut the alarm up, you have to get up, go find the rocket, and then place the rocket back into place. By the time you do all of that, you should be wide awake and good to go. Sounds like a good idea in theory, but if I bought the alarm, I would probably smash the alarm base in anger within a week.

A huge downside to the device is that it looks like it only uses batteries. Normal alarms usually run off the wall socket and have an optional battery backup. Also, the rocket is made of foam if you were worrying that you would step on it or that it would poke out your eye.
