Obama featured in Latest Spiderman Comic
I guess today is Obamarama day. Marvel announced that President Elect Barack Obama is going to be featured in a special edition of the next Spiderman comic schedule to hit shelves next Wednesday 01/14/2009. Obama got featured because, as it turns out, that he is a big fan of spiderman comics.
Mr Obama’s fan status was revealed by his campaign team, who released 10 little-known facts about the Democrat. “Right at the top of that list was he collected Spider-Man comics”
SPOILER ALERT
The story is set on Inauguration Day, where an imposter poses as the new president. That’s when Peter Parker, who’s covering the Inaugration swings into action. Then some cheesy dialog occurs, but it’ll still sell like hotcakes when it comes out.
Don’t expect to be able to obtain the comic through your local comic book store though, as they will probably be sold out. You can try your local stores, but Ebay will probably be your best bet.
