Remember the girl who sent 14,528 text messages in a month? Well, she might have been dethroned. Emilee Cox, a 14 year old girl from Clermont, Florida, sent and received a combine total of 35,463 text messages in a month. Notice how I put sent and received. She must have signed up for twitter updates, was following 2,000 people, and been on the receiving side for most of those 35,463 texts. Or she could be a crazy texter, but I doubt it.

So were you surprised by the number of texts? If you do the math for June it’s like 74 texts a day [correction: a minute] or like a text a minute.
Not really. I didn’t think it was that much at the time. Half the times my mom had my phone or it was broken but i still texted a lot.

Anyway, from the interview, you can tell that most of the texts out of those 35,463 messages were probably received texts. With her phone gone half the time, there’s no way she could get close to 10,000 sent texts in a month. Grats to twitter for making people think she was special.

Now for the more interesting part of this interview.

Haha. Your dad was supposed to email me a picture of you to use. Do you know if he found one?
Uhm idk i think my sister is sending him one.

Yes i am.
