Ok so let’s get started by stating our rating system. We talked a lot of this system, but we’re always open to suggestions to change it up.

Categories - 10 stars max for each section

Overall - name speaks for itself

Acting - this is a bit hard to rate, but we’ll try it out. Includes dialog as part of this section.

Plot - predictable? good twist? new story? illogical? big o hole in the story? etc.

Interest - how well does the film keep our interest? Are we spending more time paying attention to the movie or are we looking at our hands wondering how long that mole has been there? (been here many many times myself) Pacing is a very important part in the making of the good film.

Rewatchability - Did we just make that word up? I don’t know. Do we want to watch the movie again to pick up some missing elements or just to watch a great movie again or would we rather poke our eyes out? This definition sums it up nicely - The ability to watch a movie repeatedly without becoming nauseated by it.

These categories will make up our rating system. The overall rating will be the rough average of the other four.
