Infomercial Review

I like how Billy Mays sounds the same in the wind tunnel as he does everywhere else. Everything looked iffy in the commercial, but using it on a parachute? I’m not doubting that they did use Mighty Mend It on that parachute… but ho would use it on a parachute? come on have some common sense. No funny moments or anything that made us say ‘you gotta be kidding me’. Very disappointing commercial.

Product Review

So does Mighty Mend It work? you better sit down for this, yes it works. And it works close to as well as in the commercial. On softer and lighter cloths, Mighty Mend It will not work as well, but then again, lighter and softer cloths will be subject to better treatment or you won’t be pulling it around so much.

On heavier materials such as jeans, Mighty Mend It works just like in the commercial. Following all the directions will give the best results, but people found that the directions can be bent and they were able to wear it comfortablity 10 minutes after applying.

Time directions: Wearable after 2 hours. Washable after 24 hours.

As always: We don’t have a rating system for As Seen On TV products. It’s either a buy or no buy. Although all these As Seen On TV products say ‘30 Day Money Back Guarantee’, their customer service will run circles around you. Always assume you cannot return products you buy from TV commercials or infomercials.

While you may not believe this review, Mighty Mend It is even sold by some big names retailers such as Amazon, Target, and others. That gives it some credibility because it means you can actually return it to the store if you’re not satisfied. Note: Amazon still doesn’t let you return it.

Bottom line: Buy, but not from the TV people. If you want to buy it, go to a retailer with a physical store such as Target so you can return it if you are not satisfed. (it’s also cheaper that way)
